Sandy Szabat, MPH, ND is a naturopathic doctor who draws upon the healing powers of nature, as well as a variety of energetic and esoteric healing modalities, for the health benefits and personal growth of her clients. Integrating optimal wellness with personal development enhances your well-being, encourages you to expand your horizons, and enriches your experience of life.\u00a0 Dr. Szabat is one of the co-creators of Spirit Path and the founder of Integrative Healing Arts.<\/p>\n

A PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND IN HOLISTIC MEDICINE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Inspired by a deep-seated love of nature, Sandy has studied alternative healing modalities and environmental health sciences in both formal and informal educational settings for more than 25 years. Following completion of the herbalism program at the California School of Herbal Studies<\/a>, she examined the interactions between human health and environmental health at the University of California, Berkeley<\/a> and received a Master\u2019s degree in Public Health (MPH)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sandy relocated to Oregon to pursue further training in alternative and complementary medicine at the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM)<\/a> and received her Naturopathic Doctorate<\/a> degree in 1998.\u00a0 Following graduation, Dr. Szabat became a member of the Adjunct Faculty at NCNM, where she shared her expertise in Environmental Medicine, Laboratory Diagnosis, and IV Therapy.\u00a0 She initially established her naturopathic medical practice under the umbrella of the NCNM Clinic<\/a> in southwest Portland.\u00a0 To reach more people with her unique blend of services, Sandy has also been practicing at Spirit Path in southeast Portland since October 2012.<\/p>\n

\"Screen<\/p>\n

Dr. Szabat is dedicated to the naturopathic philosophy of balancing the whole person \u2013 body, mind, and spirit.\u00a0 To enhance the physical and mental well-being of her patients, she carefully selects the appropriate therapeutic interventions, which may include botanical medicine, homeopathy, dietary modifications, oral supplementation, meditation and visualization techniques, Jikiden Reiki, or nutritional IV therapy.\u00a0 She also employs naturopathic physical medicine treatments such as ultrasound, microcurrent, low level laser, diathermy, and hydrotherapy. To promote a good partnership with patients, Sandy also spends extensive time listening and offering counseling if warranted.<\/p>\n

A CUTTING EDGE FOUNDATION IN ANCIENT\u00a0ENERGETIC & SPIRITUAL MODALITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sandy\u2019s commitment to treating the whole person inspired her to pursue advanced training in spiritual studies, metaphysics, and energetic healing techniques through the Modern Mystery School (MMS)<\/a>. \u00a0 This aspect of Dr. Szabat\u2019s education has allowed her to bring the wisdom of the ancients into contemporary times for the well-being of her clients.\u00a0 She has also personally received great benefit from the classes and healing techniques, finding more balance, vitality, and clarity of her life\u2019s purpose.\u00a0 Under the auspices of MMS, Sandy is trained as a Life Activation Practitioner, Certified Healer, Guide, and Ensofic Ray Practitioner.\u00a0 She is also authorized to teach classes pertaining to a variety of basic metaphysical principles, including Sacred Geometry and Spiritual Intuition.<\/p>\n

Dr. Szabat is an empathetic, conscientious, and wholistic practitioner.\u00a0 She integrates art and science in the methods she uses to promote balance in body, mind, and spirit.\u00a0 Sandy also encourages you to explore and expand your vision of who you are.\u00a0 She will work with you to create customized protocols that contribute to optimal wellness, personal development, and\/or spiritual connection.\u00a0 These, in turn, open your heart so you can perceive what is possible for you to achieve and be in your life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
